Finance and Administration Assistant

As a Finance and Administration Assistant at Sidekick, you will take on the financial duties, such as invoices and incoming payments, as well as related administrative tasks.

You will work in a dynamic and enthusiastic team in sunny Malta, and you will work close to and report to the finance manager. You will be responsible for processing payments, managing invoices and maintaining cost reports, among other duties. You must be legally allowed to work in the EU. Unfortunately, we are not able to help you with obtaining a work permit.

We are a content and translation agency, with clients within the casino business, e-commerce sector and internet marketing business. We are an international company, where many different nationalities and cultures meet and work together to reach our goals. You will be processing and troubleshooting various accounts and transactions and you will take care of unforeseen situations that might arise.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and send invoices
  • Check incoming payments
  • Keep the accounts receivable ledger updated
  • Review and audit financial statements and reports, ensure all calculations and data entries are correct
  • Answers question and provide assistance to stakeholders, customers, and clients as needed
  • Updating financial spreadsheets with daily transactions
  • Other administrative tasks

The ideal candidate:

  • Has a bachelor degree in accounting or equivalent professional experience
  • Possess excellent English skills
  • Has good knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping procedures
  • Is proficient in MS Office Excel
  • Is analytical and diligent
  • Is a motivated, efficient and reliable person with excellent organisational and time management skills
